Analyst: Apple iPad has 91 per cent satisfaction rating

Apple's iPad tablet has an impressive 91 per cent satisfaction rating new research has found. Two surveys, carried out by ChangeWave Research covered both customers who had bought Apple's device and those who might in the future. One survey of 3,174 consumers showed a significant rise - 7 per cent from 4 per cent - in those "very likely" purchase an iPad compared to similar research carried out back in February by the company, prior to the device being launched. ChangeWave also found 13 per cent "somewhat likely" to buy an iPad, up from 9 per cent from earlier in the year.
A second smaller survey of 153 new iPad owners revealed a 74 per cent "very satisfied" with their iPad purchase, while another 17 per cent are "somewhat satisfied" with Apple's device. Additionally, 1 per cent claimed to be "somewhat unsatisfied," and 1 per cent "very unsatisfied" with the iPad. ChangeWave Research also showed iPad owners are three-times as likely to read newspapers and magazines compared to owners of other e-readers. UK customers will finally get to see what all the fuss is about when the iPad goes on sale next Friday 28 May.
