Apliman Technologies of Lebanon announced on Tuesday that Comium will deploy its Voice Via SMS (Short Message Service) in Sierra Leone and Liberia.
Voice Via SMS offers a speak-and-listen messaging method that allows subscribers to exchange short audio messages.
"We are proud to extend our cooperation with Comium Group by completing our voice SMS installation in all four of Comium's operations," Apliman executive director Tarek Itani stated in a press release.
"We launched the voice SMS service in Ivory Coast in January, and the service created a big interest for all Comium customers," said Jeannette Bejjani, Comium's products and services director. "We are continuing our cooperation with Apliman to deploy such innovative services in our networks."
Comium is a Lebanese telecommunications service provider with operations in four African countries -- The Gambia, Ivory Coast, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
